New Apartment!

Hey everyone! Welcome to the new "Funnel" blog. I thought this would be a great way to keep in touch about what God is doing in NYC.

The first bit of very exciting news is that, after much searching, we officially have an apartment! (I am going to be living with another girl on staff at the church). The apartment is in a great area in lower Manhattan...if anyone is familiar with SoHo or the South Village, it's right around there. Walking distance or a short subway away from the church, which is also exciting.

My move-in date is set for next Saturday, the 17th, and I'll be starting at the church on the following Tuesday.

Well, I'm off to shop for a few important apartment items (like a bed!) I'll be in touch!

Love, Kelly

P.S. Did you check out the random shower in the corner of our guest room? (see picture below) Our bathroom is in a completely different place. Only in New York!

  1. Hi Kelly! Great apartment! And such a reasonable rate!! Love the random shower location. Great spot for the heater if you have a cold winter! Lisa and I would love to send you a house warming gift. Let us know what you need. (Keep it under a thousand dollars!) As you know God has great plans for you. It will be exciting to watch your ministry grow through this blog. It's easy to lose touch with friends when God calls them out so this is a great idea. We miss you already. We love you.

  2. Hi Mark and Lisa! Thank you so much. I miss and love you guys too! Yeah we have had fun thinking of things to do with the random shower. A heater is a definite possibility! Thanks so much for the offer of a housewarming gift. We could use a blender, or some wine glasses...whatever you think! Thanks again. Hope all is well! :) :)

  3. Hi Kelly,
There is a Billy Joel song called "Movin'Out" that mentions Mister Cacciatores down on Sullivan Street across from the medical center. Could this be your street? Just curious. Have a blessed day!
